By The Sea

Ever since, Subic Bay has been my family's favorite place to stay during the Holy Week. We always liked the good food, fair weather, and the beautiful beach! And this year was no different.

Nighttime fell and we had to eat dinner. We were hearing a couple of drum beats and people were forming a crowd and we saw them! They were performing by the shore and asking donations for their costumes.

I've got to say, I had the best grilled squid that night. The best, I say! I'm not even kidding.

My tita mommy and I had to squeeze ourselves at the rightmost part just to avoid the freakin' sunlight! Hahaha!

We celebrated Easter at the nearby Ayala mall and had lunch and a little shopping there.

We had to stay for just a night because I still had a graduation practice the next day. Though it sucks, I had to cherish every bit of my senior life. Helloooo college, soon!

Hotel

I know it's been a while since I updated but I'm back! We had our CAT Graduation few weeks back so sorry for the super late entry!

Preparation before the rites itself.

My platoon's flag with my private.

We were supposed to practice our drill that time but the program was about to start so we had to go back to our posts. :|

I didn't have the chance to take pictures during the program itself mainly because we were just made to stand throughout the event. Anyway, here are pictures after the graduation!

My platoon, Hotel. T'was too bad that we only became close during the graduation practices. But I'm still glad I had new friends! I will surely miss all these people. :)

Classmates! :)

My Lunchmates :)

Michelle and Chelsea

With Sammy and Cara, both from my platoon

Janielle, Sammy, Me, and Zilah!

My mates and I didn't have the chance to take pictures since we're all tired and hungry. BUT, 'San Bisig! I'm gonna miss you all along with the good and bad times that we had. Congratulations to us! :D

The event was super tiring yet fulfilling. It made me too excited for our high school graduation which is... three days from now. Yay!

Stress? What "stress"?

The only thing I have to worry about now is the school paper and our batch's yearbook! Last week, everything was settled. Everything was done, from our Kerygma reflections to our Investigatory Project! It was a huge relief that our Physics teacher didn't let our IP presentations to push through because of the time. In addition, our teachers started signing our clearance forms last week and we're already having our graduation practices!

As for college a.k.a my future, I will be finally be studying in my dream school! I have been worrying a lot because the College of Architecture in UST requires so many things to be done before they accept you like the orientation before the drawing exam, the drawing exam itself, and the need to go to the college's building just to see the results (since they can't post in on the net, I don't even know why!). Last week, my mom and I was even at UST for three straight days! I'm not complaining though, I was very glad that I will be able to study my chosen program. Now I just need to find a dormmate. Can you be my dormmate?

Our graduation's gonna be on April 4 so we'll be wasting a month practicing an occasion that'll last for just a few hours. But, my aunt's gonna be home for the holy week until my graduation so I guess we'll be travelling a lot! Sadly my dad won't be home for the occasion but it's okay since he's always absent at any occasion. Haha having an OFW dad has its disadvantages, I'm telling you.

For the meantime, I'm just gonna be watching movies and reading books until we finally work on the school paper. This is the life!!

An Evening of Organ Music

Students from my school are always invited to join and witness the annual Bamboo Organ Festival. It lasts for a week, I think, and a year level is assigned per night. This year was different for our section, though. We were the only section that was invited last February 24 to attend the Evening of Organ Music.

Since we came in a little too early, we decided to pass the time at Jollibee Kabihasnan and ate dinner there.

When we came back, the Manunugtog Kawayan from Las Pinas National Highschool were performing in front of the St. Joseph's Parish.

Afterwards, we were told to go inside the church for the concert itself. Here's a picture of the world-famous Bamboo Organ! During the concert, we were not allowed to take pictures and use our phones so I only have few pictures taken.

After the concert, we proceeded to the quadrangle to have some food! The night was sponsored by the ambassador of Belgium (or of some sort, I'm not really sure) thus, the free food!

Us with the guest of the night from Belgium, Mr. Peter Van de Velde! He was the only one who played the Bamboo Organ and also the organ inside the school's auditorium that night. :)

What happened that night was far different than all the other nights I've attended the festival! It was fun while it lasted. :)
