An Evening of Organ Music

Students from my school are always invited to join and witness the annual Bamboo Organ Festival. It lasts for a week, I think, and a year level is assigned per night. This year was different for our section, though. We were the only section that was invited last February 24 to attend the Evening of Organ Music.

Since we came in a little too early, we decided to pass the time at Jollibee Kabihasnan and ate dinner there.

When we came back, the Manunugtog Kawayan from Las Pinas National Highschool were performing in front of the St. Joseph's Parish.

Afterwards, we were told to go inside the church for the concert itself. Here's a picture of the world-famous Bamboo Organ! During the concert, we were not allowed to take pictures and use our phones so I only have few pictures taken.

After the concert, we proceeded to the quadrangle to have some food! The night was sponsored by the ambassador of Belgium (or of some sort, I'm not really sure) thus, the free food!

Us with the guest of the night from Belgium, Mr. Peter Van de Velde! He was the only one who played the Bamboo Organ and also the organ inside the school's auditorium that night. :)

What happened that night was far different than all the other nights I've attended the festival! It was fun while it lasted. :)
