Simon's Next Top Model

St. Simon's feast day was October-ish but since senior life's bitchiness drained our energy and time out of our system, we only had the chance to celebrate it last Thursday! This is one of the many things that I'm looking forward to this school year because this will be the last feast day we're gonna have as a class. And our theme for this year is...

Simon's Next Top Model!

To be honest, things didn't really turn out well. We didn't have much food to cover everyone, our backdrop was ruined, and our sound system was kind of a fail. At first. Heh but a party isn't a party without the music so thank God we have our PE teacher who almost have everything! He saved us from our almost-fail party!

I don't know why but my hair looks decent in this photo.. hah!

Me, Katherine, and my boys
My lunchmates!!

Despite all the happy faces shown in these photos, some of my classmates weren't genuinely happy at all. It just saddening that we're about to go on our separate ways in like a month or two? and this happens. Anyway, I hope this problem of our class straightens out soon.

With Skitch = skinny bitch
(What I get for watching too much Awkward haha)

I really enjoyed watching my classmates play this game! We had a printed picture of our adviser then the objective of the game was to make the picture move across the sportsfield by blowing it. It was so funny because they were all out! They all had their game faces from the beginning till the end hahaha

After the first game, a few of my classmates had an intermission number.
Then we had a lot more games that was as fun as the first one! Some of them involved C2 Milky Tea, straws, eggs, and boys! hahaha

Michelle and I with an eating panda behind us. He wasn't amused.

My lunchmates again
With a few epals in the background haha

Despite all the weird things happening in our class lately, I still love them! I mean, it's our last year together so we should make the most out of it. We won't ever care about what others think of us, that's for sure. Those bitches can go rot in hell.

2nd runner-up: Not bad

Them

 Us

The first and second picture were from the other schools: Mary Immaculate Parish Special School and Mary Mother of God Parochial School, respectively. Our Lady of the Abandoned Catholic School was also there too, along with San Roque Catholic School

And then, there's us (third picture). But that's not how we were like during our real performance. That was when we were getting our lunch already. Sadly, my camera was locked up in the DAST room during our perfomance so I didn't have pictures.

That's how we are always like during formation. It's not a problem to me, but a problem when you join competitions like this! Discipline should always be strictly implemented and we only had it during our performance. Haha! We had trained for a whole week last week, and by training, I meant eating, sleeping, chatting, and a few "practicing".

This is actually one of the many fun experiences I had in my highschool life! This was the only time that my mates and I (and some recruits) really got to bond with each other. Last summer I wasn't able to go to school for our training that much because of my CET reviews. Now I'm having regrets. :(

During the awarding, we were pretty sure that we're not gonna be hailed as champions since MMGPS and MIPSS' performance was really good. All of them moved as one and their errors aren't much noticeable. They deserved to win the first and second place, alright.

Class 'San Bisig (that's the name of our batch), on the other hand, won third place out of five competing schools. At that point, we weren't really rooting to be winners (but it'd be better if we did haha) because all we cared about was the fun experience we had during practices. I'm surely gonna miss this when I graduate!

Right now, I have so many deadlines to meet. We just started doing our investigatory project this week and it gives me so much stress already. Plus, tomorrow's the deadline for our research proposal. It's also hard to catch up with our lessons last week because we should have been there during the discussion for us to understand clearly, but we weren't. No regrets, though. It was really fun "training" with my mates haha!

Happy Birthday Jesse!

Today is the day
that you'll be a year older
Hope you live longer

Ta-da! A super senseless haiku! Haha! Today's the day you turn seventeen! Yay! I want to be the first and last person to greet you on your birthday (I mean literally the last person this day, like  I'm gonna post this at 11:59:59 PM) but I guess it won't be successful! :( Orrr will it? Most of the time things like these don't. :( haha!

I want you to know that all of my plans for this day didn't work. You assumed this post already, yeah? Hahaha! How I suck at these kind of stuff. But I'll be better hiding things like these next time! I'm telling you! :P

I hope you already know your priorities as a seventeen-year-old college student. That means less Kat and more Mapua! Haha I know you won't ever forget me because I'll still be around to annoy and tease you! >:)  But most likely, you'll be the one doing the teasing. =_____=

Of course, God will and should always be on the top list of your priorities. Always pray and do your best in everything! If ever you have problems, He's always there for you, along with your family, your friends, and me as well!

I hope you enjoyed your day today even if you had no classes and you have no one else with you in your house. Maybe that's what God planned for you. He says maybe you should get some rest from all the studying you do. Or did. But your term just started... (Well, let's just say that He wants you to rest on your birthday, period.)

I know that you'll be too bored and too impatient reading a long post so I'll cut it here. Haha! Happiest birthday Jesse! I love you very much! :*

Tiring weekend

Here's one of the many tiring weekends I'm going to have this year. I just took up Mapua Scholastic Aptitude Exam or more commonly called as MSAE this morning till afternoon then went straight to Tagaytay for my sister's birthday dinner!

MSAE was actually pretty easy... and hard.

Let me start off with the skills test. It actually started off pretty easy with the abstract reasoning shit.. and days before the test I have been browsing over the Internet of what might be some of the things we might actually draw during the test and I found this:

[JSWC, this photo's NOT mine]

I don't know how this blogger took a photo of his/her test paper but yeah.. This is the second part of our skills test next to abstract reasoning. This is the photo that I've been using to practice for my test in Mapua and it sure did help me because what came out of the test was exactly the same! Don't be deceived by that lady in that picture, though, she's so small in the real test paper. I thought she was tall.. shit. The part two of the test involved us drawing the plant shown in the front and it was really challenging because of the pot. Or whatever. I hate that pot. Overall, my drawing was okay. I think it can be recognized as a plant. (That's what I think! But what will the Architecture department think? Huhuhu)

After lunch, the part two of the MSAE begun. We had two hours and 40 minutes to finish English, Math, and  what do they call the last part again? All I know is that most of them were about Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Critical Thinking. They had 90 items for English, and 45 each for the remaining two. I only found Math hard because I really didn't feel like studying days before the test. Before taking UPCAT and USTET, I studied Trigonometry (like functions!) and Statistics (permutation, combination stuff) very well and ironically, questions with those topics hadn't come out much for the first two tests I took so I was expecting less of those in the MSAE. Turned out, they had so many questions with those topics! That sucks because I was recalling my UPLink days with the Permutation and Combination stuff and I just can't seem to recall any. So I usually used shotgun method or cross-out method. Yep.

After taking the test, Katherine, her cousin, and I immediately went home. Traffic in Cavite worsens as time goes by, you guys, and I hate it. I waited for my mom to pick me up outside our village because we'll be celebrating my sister's birthday in Tagaytay! So yep they picked me up then on the way going to Tagaytay, I told them stories about my MSAE experience like how the proctors are not strict at all and how we can actually use cellphones while taking the test and some other stuff.

Then we arrived at Pamana! I knowww I've blogged about this before but it's my family's favorite restaurant!

P.S. Vacation's almost over! Aww :(
P.P.S. Notice the new layout? Hihi :>

Photoblog: Welcoming 2013!

Happy new year, people! :)
♥ Kat

Cheers to the new year!

It's that time again when we say goodbye to the past year as we welcome another one! Whut haha. 2012 has really been a blast for me. I experienced some of my firsts, a few of my lasts maybe.. Haha but of course, I met some new friends, tried new stuff, and shit, I'm starting to have a love-hate relationship with this year because I feel like it.

I had many goals that were achieved, books that have been read, pictures taken, quizzes failed, food eaten, subjects passed, jeepneys rode (I had to), school works crammed on and submitted on-time anyways, and a whole bunch of stuff that I.... will forget someday. Hah! I have a short-term memory loss, you see. I don't really remember things well unless, of course, they are worth remembering. Like, hmmm, prom, maybe?

But, even though I tend to forget things after a short while, those people who passed by and/or stayed in my life will forever be stored in my heart.  Hihi :P It's just that you have to remind me of the things we did back then! I'll remember some but I don't trust my memory haha :P

Going back to the actual point of the post, for every new year, new goals are set! I have bunchloads of goals coming out of my brain like farts that evaporate away afterwards. It's killing me. I don't even know why. I also have few wishes and stuff just because.

I shall save up for a new gadget I want! My phone is seriously just for text messages and calls since I can't download any apps! Occasionally it becomes an iPod but that happens very rarely since I have one on my own. Ugh, I don't know. I'm planning to replace my iPod, too, but that can wait.

I shall take many pictures! I'm a graduating student so that means I'll be permanently apart from the people I'm usually with.. (I mean my friends, but there's a possibility to be apart from my family, too = dormitory) I'll miss them for sure but of course I have to go beyond my boundaries and meet new people! I hope they'll be nice, though. There are a lot of bullies around but I guess I'll manage. :)

I shall travel to lots of places! 'Nuff said. :)

I shall meet new people! New school, new surroundings, new everythang~ I am so excited for college!

I shall fill my planner out faithfully... and everyday I shall write on it and I shall put pictures! I want it to have so much contents so that I will remember all the good and bad stuff that happened that year when I look back at it. My planners back then were failed attempts.. heh. So much money wasted, I'm telling you. I should have bought food for that instead. :(

I shall be more organized! I remember having this as one of my resolutions last year.. and yes I became more organized than before but it's not enough! I still lose some of my stuff and I keep on forgetting things I should have done. I was a busy person last year.

I shall be a responsible student! I have been a lazy one, I know. I'll try to make it up to my grades. Haha! They're not low, most definitely not high (I'm not an achiever), they're mediocre. It's okay for my parents and for me as well. I believe that it doesn't measure my intelligence. I will be a responsible one in a way that I will make a reviewer per lesson and I shall limit myself to the use of internet during exam week! Have you noticed that I kept on procrastinating last quarter? I even had a blog post during that week! Hahaha! Grade-conscious self: slightly on. But I think it's not being grade-conscious at all, I think it becoming a responsible one. (Would you look at that, self? I hope you're still the same after a month! Hahaha)

I shall update my blog more often! Seeing an overview of my blog, I noticed that I only post twice of thrice per month. Compared to other bloggers that I follow, they have like, 20 a month? I mean I won't jump immediately to 20 but I'll update as much as I can. Especially this summer!

I shall enroll in driving lessons! I'm very eager to learn driving as much as possible, and this year's my moment! I can apply now for a student license so I should learn how to drive. My mom thinks it's mandatory. I think so, too. My sister learned driving years ago and she's just applying it whenever she wanted. Hah. Not fun, sister. Not fun at all.

I shall graduate this year! We don't know what's gonna happen.. Hahaha Maybe my school would burn up and we'd have no more rooms to have classes. MAYBE! But I sure hope that wouldn't happen, I'm too excited to graduate!!!

I wish to pass the USTET! Results of all the entrance tests I took last year will be up this year! I am hyped and nervous at the same time. I really hope I do pass because I don't want to study anywhere else.

I wish that my highschool friends and I will still have the same bond even though we won't be seeing each other very often! That is up to them, of course. :) I'm always on the net and everything!

I shall read 25 books this year! Last year, my goal was to read 20 books and I did it! To make it more challenging, I added 5 more. I hope to accomplish this! :P

I plan to watch 100 movies I haven't watched yet this year! It'll be soo fun :> I shall blog for all the movies I have watched at the end of the year! :D

I'm looking forward to a fruitful and joyful year ahead! Happy new year, everyone! Have a good one!
